Web
Corporate Web Design and E-commerce Website Service
As a web design agency based in Mersin, EFORWEB designs fast, mobile-friendly corporate websites and e-commerce sites that work well with search engines and AI search. We have been producing web projects in Mersin since 2003 and our founder has worked in the web field since 1999; strategy, design, content, technical infrastructure and post-launch support all come from one team.
A corporate website is your business’s office on the internet. Potential customers usually see you there first and make up their minds there before asking for a quote. That is why a good website doesn’t just look nice: it gives the right message, loads fast, appears on Google and in the answers of AI assistants, and guides visitors to call, fill in a form or message you on WhatsApp.

Visibility
Infrastructure ready for SEO and AI search
Whether a website appears on Google and in the answers of AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Gemini starts with its infrastructure. On the sites we design, the following are set up from the start:
If you want your site to keep growing after launch, take a look at our SEO consulting service, and at AI search optimization for measuring visibility in assistants such as ChatGPT and Gemini. If you are curious about the terms, our article What are GEO and AIO? (in Turkish) explains them.
- Fast loading and good Core Web Vitals scores
- A unique title, description and a single main heading (H1) for every page
- Structured data (schema.org) for the business, services and frequently asked questions; for rich results and for the data to be understood correctly
- Short, clear answers under question headings; content that is easy to understand for both readers and search engines
- Correctly configured access to the site for search engine and AI search crawlers
E-commerce
E-commerce website setup and virtual POS
For businesses that want to sell their products online, we build mobile-friendly e-commerce sites with payment, shipping and stock infrastructure ready to go. From the virtual POS application to legal texts, from product entry to advertising campaigns, we plan together the steps you need to start selling. Your own e-commerce site is a sales channel independent of the commission and price pressure of marketplaces; the customer data and the brand stay with you.
What comes ready on an e-commerce site?
- Product, category, variant (size, colour, etc.) and stock management
- Cart, member and guest checkout, coupon and campaign settings
- Virtual POS and payment provider integration, secure payment with 3D Secure
- Shipping company integration and order tracking notifications (if your shipping company offers an integration service)
- E-invoice / e-archive integration (with the software of authorised e-invoice integrators; with custom software if required)
- Structured data on product pages and a Google Merchant Center product feed
- Pages for the distance sales contract, preliminary information form, KVKK and cookie texts (the texts come from your lawyer)
- Sales, visitor and conversion reports (Google Analytics 4 e-commerce measurement)
How is a virtual POS set up?
A virtual POS is the service that lets you take credit card payments online, and it is obtained from a bank or a licensed payment institution. You apply as a business; after approval, we connect the virtual POS to your site with the integration details you receive, test it and take it live.
- Choosing a providerA bank virtual POS or a payment institution, compared by commission, payout period and instalment options.
- ApplicationProviders usually ask for a tax certificate, a signature circular, identification and the legal texts on your site; the conditions vary by provider.
- Site checkThe bank checks whether the site has a distance sales contract, return conditions and contact details. We place the texts prepared by your lawyer on the site before the application.
- Integration and testingSuccessful and failed payment scenarios are tried in a test environment.
- Going liveReal payments are switched on and the first orders are followed together.
Which e-commerce platform do we use?
We choose the platform according to your number of products, integration needs and budget: we mostly use WooCommerce because of its flexibility and wide plugin support; if you prefer, we also work with OpenCart. If you have special workflows such as dealer-specific pricing, B2B ordering or ERP integration, we recommend a custom software solution.
Legal obligations in e-commerce
- Distance sales contract and preliminary information form
- Clearly stated right of withdrawal and return conditions
- KVKK privacy notice and cookie consent
- Registration with the Electronic Commerce Information System (ETBİS)
- Registration with the Message Management System (İYS) if commercial emails and SMS will be sent
Because these texts carry legal responsibility, we ask you to have them prepared by your lawyer; we place the prepared texts on the site and set up the cookie consent banner. The information here is for general guidance only and does not replace legal advice.
Opening the site is not enough: before launch we set up product page SEO, the product feed for Google Shopping ads and conversion measurement. To speed up sales, we can also manage campaigns through our Google Ads and digital marketing services.
Redesign, languages, identity
Keeping your Google rankings when you redesign your website
The most common mistake in a website redesign is not redirecting the old page addresses to the new ones; rankings earned over years can disappear within a few weeks. In redesign projects we list every address of the old site, decide which pages to keep based on Search Console data and redirect each old address to its new counterpart in a single step (301).
Multilingual and Arabic websites
Because of Mersin’s port and free zone, many businesses sell abroad or host customers from the Middle East. On sites with English and Arabic versions, we set up a separate address for each language, correct hreflang markup and a right-to-left (RTL) layout for Arabic. We don’t prepare the content as a word-for-word translation, but based on the question of the person searching in that language.
Corporate identity, images and online catalogue
Your website is the most visible face of your corporate identity. We bring your logo and colour usage in line with the site, edit product photos, embed promotional videos and turn your printed catalogues or brochures into e-catalogues that can be browsed page by page online.
Sectors
Which sectors do we build websites for?
Because of Mersin’s trade and industrial structure, we work most with businesses in logistics and shipping, construction and real estate, industry and manufacturing, healthcare, tourism, automotive and food. Visitors look for different information in each sector: for a logistics company the service network and the quote form come first, for a clinic the specialists and appointments, for a manufacturer the product catalogue.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
If you can’t find the answer to your question, call us or message us on WhatsApp.
How long does it take to build a corporate website?
It depends on the number of pages, whether the content is ready and the approval times. An average corporate website goes live within 4–6 weeks; if the copy and images have to be prepared from scratch, it takes longer.
What does the price of web design depend on?
The number of pages, the need for a custom design, the number of languages, content production and any custom software requirements determine the price. For current packages and price ranges, see our web design prices page (in Turkish).
Can I update the website myself?
Yes. At handover we show you how to use the management panel; you can update news, products, references and page copy yourself. If you prefer, we make the updates under a maintenance agreement.
Will I lose my Google rankings when I redesign my website?
If the old addresses are redirected correctly, the loss stays very limited. Before the redesign we list every address of the old site, redirect each one to its new counterpart with a 301 and monitor Search Console after launch.
Do I have to get the domain and hosting from you?
No, we can also work with your existing domain and hosting. If you want everything from a single source, we take on setup and maintenance with our domain and hosting service.
Do you work with businesses outside Mersin?
Yes. We meet our clients in Mersin face to face, and work with clients elsewhere in Türkiye and abroad over video calls and email.
Do I need to set up a company to open an e-commerce site?
To get a virtual POS and issue invoices you need a tax registration; a sole proprietorship is enough in most cases. We recommend clarifying the right structure for you with your accountant.
How much are virtual POS commissions?
Rates vary by provider, turnover, number of instalments and payout period, and they change often. Before applying, we compare several offers together.
Can you add a virtual POS to my existing website?
Yes, if the platform allows it. If your site is not ready to take payments or security updates are missing, we need to fix these first.
Should I sell on a marketplace or on my own site?
They are not alternatives to each other. Marketplaces bring quick sales and visibility; your own site gives you your brand, customer data and profit margin. For most businesses the right path is to run both together.
How long does it take for an e-commerce site to go live?
It depends on the number of products and the virtual POS approval process; 4–8 weeks on average. Starting the virtual POS application during the design phase shortens the timeline.
